About this role

We’re looking for a results-oriented lifecycle marketer to support Weaviate’s business growth through onboarding, converting, expanding, and retaining our diverse user base. You’ll play a key role in developing and executing strategies that generate qualified leads, nurture them through the buyer's journey, and ultimately drive revenue for our business.

This role is a great match for someone with experience running full-funnel lifecycle marketing campaigns in a high-growth environment and a knack for experimentation, iteration, and automation (we are an AI company after all). You’ll be part of the Marketing team and work closely with Sales, RevOps, Product/Engineering, Developer Relations, and Developer Growth teams.

This is what you’ll be doing: 

  • Design, implement, and optimize campaigns that nurture leads, convert prospects into customers, and increase customer loyalty and lifetime value.
  • Map out customer journeys for various audience segments based on things like persona, industry, product signals, engagement with marketing and community programs, etc. 
  • Identify opportunities to introduce existing customers to other products or services that might be of interest to them.
  • Leverage data to improve user experiences.  Analyze how users are responding to different messaging and tactics, sharing feedback across the company.


What we are looking for

  • 3+ years of experience in Demand Generation Campaigns, Growth Marketing, Lifecycle Marketing, or Email Marketing.
  • You have experience working at a fast-paced B2B SaaS start-up or scale-up.
  • You have worked with a SaaS product with projects around converting free to paid users and email nurture campaigns for different audience segments.
  • Excellent communication skills and a master at collaborating with different teams to align strategy with execution.
  • Analytical with a focus on continuous improvement– ability to run tests and quickly learn from them to improve our messaging and campaigns.
  • An expert in setting up campaigns, emails, and reports in marketing and sales tools like Hubspot, Marketo, Salesforce, Commonroom, Apollo and setting up automation across platforms.
  • Experience working with an open source developer audience is a plus.
