Staff Technical Product Manager, Storage

ABOUT THE ROLE

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Defines the Privacy vision and strategy aligned with our vision of the future, regulations, risk management, and market needs.
• Defines the future vision of our data storage solutions aligned with our vision of the future, regulations, risk management, and market needs.
• Collaborates closely  with Legal, DPO, Security, and other roles to provide professional product suggestions.
• Create and maintain a prioritized Privacy backlog.
• Sets accurate expectations (and re-sets them if needed), clearly and frequently communicates progress, and brings visibility to blockers and outcomes to managers & stakeholders.
• Proactively identifies key stakeholders and anticipates their needs. Builds alignment with stakeholders both within and outside the Tech organization.
• Create workflows and artifacts that spread Privacy awareness across product teams.

WHO YOU ARE

• You have a solid track record building technical products
• Experience handling privacy by design, privacy enhancing technologies, or privacy-related technology deliveries
• Familiarity with knowledge and skills in the fields of privacy compliance and data governance, including but not limited to applicable global privacy laws such as GDPR and CCPA
• Ability to create a vision and rally an organization around it, with experience in driving innovation to discover new values and experiences
• Able to lead discussions with cross-functional teams, adapt quickly to changes, and collaborate with legal, DPO, research and development, security, and operations teams
• Strong communications skills and the ability to operate in a complex, enterprise-scale environment
• Extensive knowledge of software development, system implementation, and product lifecycles
• Ability to take an integrated view of concurrent projects that cross-team and domain boundaries
• Partner with managers of design and engineering teams to ensure focus on fit-for-purpose solutions, and drive efficient delivery of the right outcomes for the customer and organization
