What Will You Do?

As Smartpricing's Senior Sales Manager for the UK/I market, you will lead our sales efforts, driving revenue growth and market expansion. We are looking for individuals with a passion for creating and executing dynamic sales strategies, ready to dive into strategic planning and practical execution. Your winning mentality and competitive spirit are crucial as we aim not just to participate but to dominate the market. Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage a team of 7 to 10 sales FTEs, setting clear sales goals and performance metrics while providing ongoing coaching and mentorship to motivate and inspire the team to achieve and exceed sales targets

  • Drive revenue growth and achieve sales goals by overseeing all aspects of the sales cycle, optimizing lead generation, qualification, and conversion, analyzing sales data to meet revenue targets, and managing sales budgets and resources effectively

  • Continuously developing sales expertise through ongoing learning and professional development opportunities

  • Staying abreast of industry trends, competitor activity, and new technologies to maintain a competitive edge

  • Providing sales and product trainings to the sales team

  • Hiring top market talent: recruiting, onboarding, and developing a talented team of sales representatives, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.

What Are We Looking For?
  • 5 + years of experience in a sales management role for B2B SaaS companies, preferably with experience managing 5-10 direct reports

  • Experience in startups or scale-ups is preferred, demonstrating success in managing growing sales teams and implementing processes to support rapid growth

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve sales goals

  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills, with the ability to influence internal stakeholders and support team members in negotiation processes

  • Strategic planning and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and implement a strategic sales plan aligned with company objectives and market opportunities

  • Proficiency in sales data analysis and reporting, with the ability to analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
