Your missions

Your mission
As a Software Quality Engineer (Automation), you will contribute significantly to VERSO's sustainable success and growth.

You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products by taking the lead in setting up and implementing a new testing strategy. By carrying out tests, identifying errors and implementing quality standards, you contribute significantly to ensuring that our software meets the requirements and expectations of our customers and thus have a direct positive influence.

In all of this, you will grow with VERSO and continuously develop both our development teams and yourself.

Your tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • You will be responsible for concepting and implementing the test strategy for our products.
  • You will create manual and automated test plans.
  • You ensure the maintenance of test documentation.
  • You will be the technical lead for the other test engineers in the team and play your part in taking the team to the next level.
  • You share your professional expertise across all development teams.
  • You will closely collaborate with our Frontend-Development team, Backend-Development team as well as our Product Team.
Your profile
You'll fit in particularly well with our Development Team if, in addition to a passion for sustainability, you also bring a great deal of openness and motivation to continuously improve our products.

What you need to succeed:

  • You have at least 5+ years of professional experience in the conception and implementation of test environments and implementation of test environments for the test automation.
  • You are at home in agile software development and are familiar with a wide selection of test automation tools like Codeception, Karma, Cypress.
  • You are familiar and experienced in integrating test suites into CI/CD Pipelines.
  • You have experience in load and performance testing and know common test management tools such as xRay or Testrail.
  • You work in a structured manner, are curious and enjoy sharing your knowledge within the team.
  • You are comfortable working with various different teams.
  • You are able to switch between working independently and self-responsibly on projects and close collaboration with your team.
  • You have a permanent residency in Germany.
  • You are fluent in English, both spoken and written.
