Front End (UI) Engineer

Newton Vision Corp is seeking a Front-end (UI) Software Engineer to support a large client on multiple projects. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating products that are functional, efficient, and beautiful. You'll partner with the client’s product team, UX designers, and back-end engineers and others to deliver great products. A passion for coding and technology is a huge plus. This is a fully remote role and is an open-ended, long-term assignment.

Responsibilities:

• Build responsive HTML pages from wireframes and/or direction from product owners & designers.
• Work with other developers to create and update angular partials using JavaScript, CSS and HTML
• Creating new angular components (directives, services, factories, controllers, etc.) with Angular JS – Angular 2+/TypeScript.

Experience Requested:

• Strong working knowledge of UI/UX design principles
• A minimum of 5+ years in Web-based design/development experience
• Knowledge of fundamental JavaScript principles and DOM manipulation techniques
• Experience working with Angular and MVC frameworks.
• Experience to RESTful API’s
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience with .Net C#
• GitHub, Azure DevOps and AWS experience or similar
• Demonstrated ability with analytical/problem-solving skills and responsive web design patterns
• Experience with OOP JavaScript (TypeScript)
• Experience with CSS3 frameworks with preprocessors (SASS, LESS)
• Angular Material Design / Bootstrap experience
• Experience with CSS animations
• MSSQL exposure
• Experience with Agile
• Mobile app Experience a plus
• Angular Flex Layout
