Overview of Position:

The Sales Operations Analyst - Cruise & Maritime role manages the progression of a sales opportunity in the pipeline from inception until handover to Order to Cash (OTC) and Service Delivery. This critical role ensures data integrity and adherence to corporate policies and procedures, leading to improved forecasting, profitability, and cash collections. You will be assigned to lead the Cruise and Commercial Maritime verticals in the Europe and Middle East region. The Sales Operations Analyst is the point person for Sales on any sales operations related matter.

The role oversees sales support functions, including but not limited to digital transformation in the sales ordering process, pricing exception approvals, and ad-hoc sales support requests. Recurring objectives for the position are intended to enable:

  • Better strategic visibility and alignment across business lines
  • Improved ability to prioritize resources and focus based on business opportunities
  • Better fidelity in near and long-term forecasting
  • More “data driven” and less subjective decision making
  • Improved efficiency and accuracy in sales ordering through digital transformation

What you will do:

  • Attend internal sales meetings hosted by VP or SVP as well as pipeline reviews on a monthly basis
  • Actively monitor CRM for compliance to pipeline guidelines and data accuracy
  • Ensure renewals are captured in CRM and are renewed before expiration date
  • Understand the stage of an opportunity and anticipates Sales’ needs to close
  • Support Sales’ efforts in preparing for and closing the opportunity
  • Validate order compliance with Product pricing guidelines and required approvals
  • Coordinate final execution of order, including as required and in coordination with account executives, the engagement with accounts to finalize inputs needed.
  • Once executed, submit request to OTC/Service Delivery through appropriate platform and as needed ensure order is processed and working through the system
  • Enable digital transformation in the sales ordering process

  • 5 years of related professional experience
  • Highly analytical and detail oriented
  • Innovative, solving problems creatively with positive can-do attitude
  • Hands-on experience with Dynamic CRM with experience in sales processes and CRM best practices
  • Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize workload and multiple projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to tailor communication style for the recipient
  • Proven team player

  • Experience with communication services
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics ERP
  • Experience with digital sales platforms
  • Experience with sales proposals
  • Prior project management experience
