Business Analyst - II (Data Engineering)

Company Overview:

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Requirement Gathering & Solutioning
  • Document client requirements specifically for Data Engineering and Data Management projects.
  • Analyze technical requirements related to data architecture, ETL processes, data warehousing, and big data technologies and convert client requirement in detailed functional requirements, process flows, wireframes, data models etc.
  • Develop project documentation such as Project charters, Statements of Work (SoWs), Functional Specification Document (FSD) and other technical design documents.
  • DevOps Project Board Management
  • Write user stories and acceptance criteria for data engineering development tasks, maintaining & prioritizing backlogs in Azure DevOps, defining epics,
  • Planning, Estimation, and Execution
  • Develop project plans and timelines for data engineering activities.
  • Ensure accurate effort estimations and participate in project scrum meetings.
  • Client Interaction
  • Engage with clients under the supervision of Product Owners, to understand their data needs, conduct workshops, and refine data-related requirements.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and development teams to ensure clear understanding and implementation of all data requirements.
  • Team & Competence building in Data practice
  • Lead by example and help Product Owner/ Solution Owner in implementing best practices in Data Engineering.
  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with data engineering technologies and tools, such as SQL, Python, Hadoop, Spark, and data warehousing solutions is preferred.
  • Experience: 4-5 Years Job Location: Remote Work Timings: 2.30 pm - 11.30 pm IST
