Position Info

This position is primarily responsible for relationships with specifying engineers, major Mechanical / Plumbing / Fire Protection and Design Build contractors & End Users. The associate will be the Commercial driver of Sales in the region through the use of the Reed/Insight Connect, Trimble, & MasterSpec tools and platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Development and execution of short- and long-range strategic plans, working with the Director of Commercial Sales, and Regional & Area Sales Managers in the Northeast Region: PA, NY, MA, CT, RI, VT NH, ME.
  • Assist the Area Sales Managers with the execution of a project tracking tool from beginning stages through award of project.
  • Work in a “matrix” role with regional sales associates within the assigned territory.
  • Provide comprehensive product training to NIBCO sales associates & to all external customers.
  • Attend Industry events such as regional ASPE, ASHRAE & MCA Chapter Meetings.
  • Conduct multiple Lunch and Learns each month for Engineering and Contractor Firms.
  • Play an integral role with significant projects each quarter.
  • Write NIBCO Name & Figure numbers into Plumbing, Mechanical & Fire protection specifications with all major Engineering Firms, Mechanical Contracting Companies including Design-Build Firms, & End Users, around NIBCO commercial products and drive the NIBCO Brand.

Experience

Minimum 5 years sales experience.

Education

Bachelor’s degree required.

Training And Skills

Proficient in all Microsoft apps; Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Adobe. Candidates must have ability to work independently with a high execution rate.

Physical Demands / Environmental Factors

Ability to drive and travel to all areas of the Northeastern territory.

Ability to communicate to customers, engineers and sales teams.
