ML Engineer/ Data Engineer - Mid Level

What Will You Do?

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced engineerto join our ML department. In this role, you will lead and manage complex data science projects, develop and implement machine learning models & algorithms.

The ideal candidate should have knowledge of statistics, machine learning and computer science, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key responsibilities include:

• Design, experiment and implement ML and statistical models to improve our ML infrastructure, mainly related to our pricing algorithms
• Maintain and developa scalable, low-latency ML infrastructure
• Collaborate on enhancing and optimizing our production pipelines
• Play a key role in the validation phase of the R&D outputs
• Identifyand deploy scalable technologies to enhance our operations
• Refineand sustain our proprietary machine learning models
• Preprocessbig data and ensure their availability through reliable services
  
  
  

What Are We Looking For?

• Motivation matters - We set challenging goals to achieve, we are looking for determined individuals who want to push their own limits
• Experience and passion for the role - Do you have previous experience in the role of ML Engineer or in a similar role? A minimum of 3 years experience is required.
• Autonomy in building ETL pipelines from scratch is a must
• Must be located in Italy or Europe
• Knowledge of English (minimum B2)
• Minimum of a bachelor's degree or MSc in Computer Science (data science / engineering / mining fields)
• You have solid data-visualization and presentation skills and can communicate to a wide variety of audiences
• Proven and extensive knowledge in Python, Pandas (or NumPy), extensive knowledge of different DB engines (SQL, NoSQL, others)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for working in a multicultural work environment, able to negotiate with peers, PMs and able to talk with Data Scientists
