We are looking for On-Call Support Consultant-Service Desk with 3 to 8 years of experience to be based at our Mangalore office in India and to be part of our growth story.

On-Call Support Consultant-Service Desk:

Work Mode: Work from Office/ Remote

  • Provide the On-Call End User support, in the 24/7 model (with the focus on 16:00-07:00 CET hours / 07:30 PM-4:00 AM / 4:00 AM-12:30 PM IST hours) through the phone, email, and Self-Service channels.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Dispatch tasks and incidents in ServiceNow, so we ensure that inquiries are send to the right assignment group, as fast as possible.
  • Assist with ad hoc tasks onsite, at the office in India.
  • Order equipment for EG’s remote work setup / hand out equipment to Indian users.
  • Procure IT equipment for EG’s employees, all over the world.
  • Resolve daily IT tasks, in collaboration with Danish colleagues.
  • Create and maintain user-facing knowledge articles.
  • Create and maintain documentation.
  • User account management

You are the ideal candidate if you have the following skills:

  • Proficiency in English.
  • Solid knowledge of the product or solution being supported.
  • IT domain and IT industry knowledge.
  • Familiar with the tools and phases of delivering successful customer support (ServiceNow, Active Directory, Office365, AutoPilot, Intune, Jamf, Windows, MacOS, Incident, Request, Change, Problem Management).
  • General understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products.
  • Has high customer service orientation and is motivated by providing excellent customer service.
  • Has a technical, logical thought process.
  • Has problem-solving skills and acts solution-oriented.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Is able to deal with and solve conflicts and problems.
  • ITIL certification.
