Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect with a strong background in designing and implementing enterprise-level platform as a service systems using a collaborative and team centric approach, particularly in the fintech and mortgage sectors. The ideal candidate should have profound knowledge of enterprise systems, application architecture, OOO and common front-end frameworks, especially Java and React, cloud services, especially AWS and Azure, and be well-versed in application security practices, including DAST and SAST. Experience in mortgage, vendor integration, and multi-tenancy platforms is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning and Alignment:
    • Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture strategy, ensuring it aligns with business goals and objectives.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to understand business requirements, particularly in the fintech and mortgage sectors, and translate them into IT solutions.
  • Architecture Development:
    • Design and oversee the implementation of integrated systems architecture across the enterprise.
    • Ensure architectural integrity and consistency across the entire IT environment.
    • Create and maintain architectural artifacts, including models, diagrams, and documentation.
  • Technology Assessment and Selection:
    • Evaluate emerging technologies and determine their potential impact on the enterprise.
    • Recommend technology solutions and frameworks that enhance business operations and performance.
  • Governance and Compliance:
    • Establish and enforce architecture governance frameworks, ensuring adherence to best practices, standards, and policies.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and security standards.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with IT teams, including infrastructure, development, and security, to ensure cohesive architecture implementation.
    • Facilitate communication between business and technical stakeholders to ensure mutual understanding and alignment.
  • Project Oversight:
    • Provide architectural guidance and oversight on key IT projects, ensuring they align with the enterprise architecture.
    • Review and approve project architecture and design to ensure consistency with enterprise standards.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within the architecture framework.
    • Promote the adoption of best practices and industry standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in IT, with at least 7 years in an architecture role.
  • Proven experience in enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or FEAF.
  • Strong understanding of various architectural domains including application, data, infrastructure, and security.
  • Extensive knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and drive change.
  • Certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or similar are highly desirable.

Desirable Experience:

  • Significant experience in the fintech and mortgage sectors, with a deep understanding of industry-specific requirements and challenges.
  • Experience in developing or architecting platform as a service solutions using multi-enancy, and mortgage platforms.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the fintech and mortgage industries.
  • Certifications in cloud technologies, big data, DevOps, security, DAST, SAST, or related fields.
