The Role
As our new Contract and Commercial Manager, you will be the linchpin in our contract management process, overseeing every aspect of our SaaS contracts. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that our contracts not only comply with legal requirements but also drive value and innovation. You will manage the entire lifecycle of multiple SaaS contracts, ensuring each phase meets the highest standards of legal and contractual compliance. Your expertise will be crucial in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of contract agreements, including service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring all terms are clear, beneficial, and strategically aligned.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders will be essential, facilitating effective communication and collaboration throughout the contract period. You will work closely with our Sales Team to address contract-related issues and ensure robust commercial and contractual governance. Conducting regular reviews to ensure contract compliance, you will identify areas for improvement and implement necessary corrective actions, utilizing your negotiation and problem-solving skills to mitigate risks and resolve any disputes or conflicts that arise.
Skills and Experience
We are looking for candidates with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field, and proven experience in contract management within a corporate or legal setting. A comprehensive understanding of contract law and commercial terms, combined with exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly, is essential. You should be adept at managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines, demonstrating a high level of integrity and professionalism.
Familiarity with contract management software and tools, along with excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, will ensure you excel in this role. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team is also crucial.
