Job Description

As a Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a crucial role in sourcing, recruiting, and hiring top-tier technical talent to support our diverse range of projects and client needs. You will focus on sourcing for technical contract roles, leveraging your skillful communication, expectation management, and relationship-building abilities to effectively build a pipeline of qualified and interested 1099 candidates. These candidates will serve as a reliable pool of resources to serve ongoing projects in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand technical staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies for technical contract roles.
  • Source and screen candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals, with a focus on building a pipeline of qualified and interested 1099 candidates.
  • Conduct technical interviews and assess candidate proficiency in networking, security, cloud, and AI technologies, as well as their suitability for contract positions.
  • Manage candidate relationships and expectations throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive candidate experience and maintaining a reliable pool of resources for ongoing projects.
  • Coordinate and schedule technical interviews with hiring managers and project teams, facilitating the hiring process for contract positions.
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in talent acquisition for technical contract roles.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize the recruitment process and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in technical talent acquisition, recruitment, or HR coordination, preferably in a technical or consulting environment.
  • Strong understanding of networking, security, cloud, and AI technologies, with the ability to assess candidate proficiency in these areas.
  • Experience sourcing and managing relationships with 1099 candidates for contract positions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple technical recruitment priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in handling sensitive information and candidate data.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and MS Office Suite.
  • Certifications or training in technical recruiting, networking, security, cloud, or AI technologies are a plus.
