Job Description:

Join Our Purpose - Feeding the Future

Nutreco is a member of the SHV family, and we are committed to 'Feeding the Future' through sustainable and innovative practices. Nutreco has two business lines: Skretting is a leading global provider of innovative aquafeed solutions, revolutionizing aquaculture for a sustainable future. Trouw Nutrition specializes in animal nutrition and is committed to advancing livestock health and productivity through innovative solutions.

Are you ready to drive significant impact in global procurement? Nutreco is seeking a dynamic Indirect Procurement Manager to join our team in Amersfoort, the Netherlands. In this pivotal role, you will maximize profitability through strategic procurement category management, ensure business continuity, and foster competitiveness across our Business Units and OpCo’s. You will also spearhead supplier relationship management, ensuring we maintain strong, beneficial partnerships. Indirect procurement is primarily managed within the Business Units and partially coordinated from the Head Office, requiring seamless collaboration across different organizational levels.

As our Indirect Procurement Manager, success means achieving our ambitious savings target of 3% annually. You will translate this goal into actionable strategies, engaging closely with our business units in, for example, North America, Latin America, Iberia, and Europe and Central Africa (ECA) to empower them in meeting their targets. Acting as a key liaison between SHV and Nutreco, and bridging corporate with operational teams, you will build strong networks and communities within our organization.

Imagine leveraging your expertise to negotiate superior terms with local suppliers across Latin America, achieving significant cost reductions while upholding the highest quality standards. See yourself bridging the gap between corporate strategies and operational execution, driving impactful procurement initiatives that make a global difference. You will lead regular strategy meetings with corporate leaders and operational managers, ensuring seamless alignment of goals and fostering a collaborative, innovative approach to procurement. This is your opportunity to make a lasting impact and shape the future of procurement at Nutreco.
