Summary

The Member Retention Specialist maintains member focus and improves the member experience. This involves determining member needs, responding to inquiries, resolving concerns, and promoting programs and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Determine member needs and promote the best-suited program and services
  • Maintain the highest-level of ethics and member focus
  • Field inbound member calls and resolve member care concerns
  • Respond to member inquiries with clarity and knowledge of programs and services
  • Maintain accurate member records and prepare account summaries for each member you contact within our CRM
  • Correspond with other departments to assist with member issues
  • Provide members with additional information about new programs and services
  • Deliver high member satisfaction and continuously improve member experience
  • Promote member service values by being courteous, professional and prompt in all member interactions
  • Partner with other lines of business with member feedback to help deliver on an improved product and member experience


Qualifications And Experience

  • Business Administration (College diploma) or Business Development (College diploma) or Communications (College diploma) or Marketing (College diploma) or Sales (College diploma)
  • Analytics (Intermediate)
  • CRM Systems (Intermediate)
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Intermediate)
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO) (Intermediate)


Additional Information

  • Tasks are normally conducted in a regular office environment, requiring use of computer, mouse, drawing tablet, and other standard office equipment. Staff usually remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Staff will observe safety principles while performing the duties of the position.
  • Staff may be required to travel and have a valid driver’s license.
  • May need to lift and move items up to 35 lbs on occasion.
