What you will be responsible for As Data Lake Technology MD you will · Lead the development and execution of the data lake strategy, aligning with the firm's overall business goals. · Manage the integration, storage, processing, and analysis of large datasets from diverse sources. · Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards for data security and privacy. · Collaborate with IT teams, data scientists, business analysts, and external partners to enhance data functionalities and support business initiatives. · Oversee the implementation of robust data governance frameworks and data quality management practices. · Provide strategic advice and technical expertise to senior management on emerging data technologies and data management practices. · Drive innovation through exploratory analysis and experimental design to identify new business opportunities and improve operational efficiencies. · Develop and maintain scalable and efficient data architectures, ensuring optimal performance of the data lake. · Manage budgets, project timelines, and resource allocation effectively, delivering projects on time and within cost constraints. · Mentor and lead a team of data professionals in achieving excellence in data management and analytics. Deep familiarity of the State Street technology landscape will be a strong plus. · Experience being part of a business vertical will be highly desirable. · Proven expertise in managing large-scale data infrastructures and complex data integration projects. · Strong understanding of data governance, data security, and compliance frameworks relevant to the financial industry. · Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of driving team performance and engaging with senior stakeholders. · Experience with cloud-based data solutions, big data technologies, and industry-standard ETL tools. · Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data-driven insights into strategic actions. Salary Range:
$175,000 - $287,500 Annual
