What are we looking for?

Candidates who are innovative, open to technology, able to propose new solutions and possess skills in cloud infrastructure development and open-source tools. Ideal profiles could have some of the following skills (not mandatory to have all):

  • Operating Systems: In-depth knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows.
  • Automation and Scripting: Ability to write scripts in languages such as Bash, Python, Ruby, or PowerShell.
  • Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD): Experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Travis CI, etc.
  • Containers and Orchestration: Knowledge of Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Cloud Services: Proficiency in AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or other cloud providers.
  • Monitoring and Logging: Familiarity with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Splunk, or Datadog.
  • Version Control: Management of version control systems such as Git.
  • Security: Understanding of security practices in development and operations (DevSecOps).
  • Databases: Knowledge of relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases.
  • Networks: Basic knowledge of networks, DNS, load balancers, and VPNs.
  • Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with agile methodologies and agile development practices such as Scrum or Kanban.

Responsibilities:

  • Process Automation: Implement and manage automation tools for continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD).
  • Infrastructure Management: Configure and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Monitoring and Logging: Set up monitoring and logging systems to track performance, detect issues, and optimize infrastructure.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Facilitate communication and collaboration between development and operations teams.
  • Security Implementation: Integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
  • Configuration Management: Manage and automate configuration management to ensure consistency across environments.
  • Scalability and Performance: Ensure systems and applications are scalable and optimize their performance.
