Your missions

Go Team is looking for a full-time Bookkeeper to join our team. The role involves comprehensive management of accounting tasks using QuickBooks Desktop, including regular financial reporting to team members. Key responsibilities include handling Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, processing payroll semi-monthly, and managing bank reconciliations for multiple accounts. The Bookkeeper will also prepare tax remittances and annual tax forms, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure budgetary accuracy. Additionally, you will assist in transitioning from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online and integrating accounting processes into new software systems.

What You Will Do

  • Manage all aspects of accounting, including Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Accounts Payable (A/P), using QuickBooks Desktop and other tools.
  • Enter sales order forms by class and representative, send out monthly invoices, and handle past due A/R follow-ups.
  • Process deposits to the appropriate business accounts and run credit cards via Intuit/Authorize.net/Square as required.
  • Enter bills upon receipt, schedule bill payments, and process checks and expense reimbursements in QuickBooks.
  • Prepare and enter payroll semi-monthly, including monthly commission statements, tax remittances, contractor invoices, and IRA payments.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and credit cards for multiple locations (Oregon, Hawaii, Canada - CDN$ and USD$ accounts).
  • Maintain accurate financial records, general ledger updates, and reconciliation of accounting entries.
  • Assist with the transition from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online and integration with other CRM/software systems, ensuring accurate financial reporting and monitoring budget variances.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper, with expertise in using QuickBooks Desktop and other accounting tools.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, including Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Accounts Payable (A/P) management.
  • Proficient in preparing and processing payroll, including commission statements, tax remittances, and contractor payments.
  • Experience in bank and credit card reconciliation for multiple accounts, including international accounts.
  • Ability to maintain accurate financial records, update general ledgers, and reconcile accounting entries.
  • Skilled in handling tax forms and collaborating with CPAs for annual tax returns.
  • Familiarity with transitioning from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online and integrating accounting with other CRM/software systems.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work remotely and publish regular financial reports to the team.
