Position:  Technical Support Representative
Salary Range: 1,000 - 1,500 USD Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM UK Time/5:00 PM to 2:00 AM PHT Monday - Friday


Overview of the Position

As a Technical Support Representative, you will play a pivotal role in managing typical ecommerce service requests while leveraging your technical knowledge to understand our products and resolve customer issues effectively. As we are a small, growing business we may also require other tasks such as updating product pages, helping with inventory planning etc.. If you are the kind of person who enjoys learning about new technologies while helping people and solving problems, this job is for you.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manages eCommerce service requests and provides technical support to customers.
  • Utilizes technical knowledge to understand product specifications, make recommendations and troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Liaises with manufacturers and other team members to resolve customer issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Contributes to the creation of knowledge base articles for the helpdesk/blog to improve customer service experience and efficiency.
  • Assists with other customer-focused tasks as needed, not limited to updating product listing's on ecommerce store, providing quotations to b2b customers etc..
  • Stay informed about the latest developments, innovations, and trends shaping the drone, FPV, and maker electronics industries.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in electronics engineering or relevant technical skills/experience.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electronics, drones, and 3D printing.
  • Previous technical customer support experience is a must.
  • Knowledge of eCommerce operations.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to undergo training on the internal ERP system (Odoo).
  • Previous experience in a helpdesk environment is advantageous.
  • A solid understanding of electronics, drones, and 3D printing, arduino, raspberry pi etc... (Bachelor's degree in electronics engineering, robotics, or similar).
  • A willingness to learn the technicalities of the products we sell.
