We are looking for a Management Accountant on a 9 month contract to join our Business Partnering, Customer & Operations team in Sydney.

 

You'll be responsible for

  • Month-end Close activities, reporting and expense analysis, focusing on the Customer & Operations division, including deep dives into underlying drivers. Prepare impactful presentations to concisely communicate outcomes of analysis and trends.
  • Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Claims, Operations and Property to deliver internal and Group reporting and to support the annual planning process, including analysis and validation of key planning inputs.
  • Support the implementation of process improvements and streamlining of tasks across the Business Partnering squads.

 

About you

  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or relevant discipline. Relevant accreditations, for example CA / CPA, advantageous.
  • Experience in IFRS 16 Leases or expense analysis or Finance.
  • Experience in the General Insurance industry and a demonstrated understanding of its key drivers advantageous.
  • Ability to analyse complex information, identify errors or inconsistencies, extract meaningful insights, and create impactful presentations.
  • Ability to partner and collaborate effectively with stakeholders to establish strong professional relationships.
