We're on the lookout for a talented to hop on board this assignment with one of our clients, a remote-friendly, scaling, Swedish game studio, for an exciting, new, project!

Mission brief from the client studio: 

"We’re looking for support in creating a cohesive UX and UI experience that is as diegetic as possible while removing/minimizing any potential friction points moving between gameplay elements.

We are looking for both UX design, UI design

We're targeting to have the UX (in terms of how the player interacts with the game, features, and UI layout), implemented by Alpha in early October. Then to have the final art assets and effects in place and shippable for the UI in early December for Beta."

And, there are several areas to sink your teeth into, like: Ability Inventory, Traits, Health Bars, Overworld HUD, Character Elements and more!


    Details:

    • Start date: ASAP (July or sooner)
    • Duration: 6 months
    • Occupance rate: 100% assignment (Full-time)
    • Level: Applicable for Mids, Seniors and Principals
    • Work set-up: Fully remote, CET work hours

    Your player profile:

    • 4+ years working as a UX & UI Designer at a computer games studio
    • Your main skills are centered on UX/UI for games on PC/Steam and consoles
    • You have a portfolio that showcases your skills and abilities working on UX in previous game projects 

    Bonus (Note: NOT mandatory to apply):

    • Experience working with UX/UI design and developing smooth and memorable experiences for ARPG/RPG/Strategy games for Steam and consoles
