Job Title: Systems Analyst 3

Work Mode: Remote

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and execute the migration of data across multiple database systems, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain database management systems to support the company’s data needs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to understand and implement EHR data migration requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues to maintain optimal performance and reliability.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all database management and migration processes.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, particularly those related to healthcare data.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior database administrators and data migration specialists.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve database management practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.


Required Qualifications

  • 8 years of experience in database management systems and data migration.
  • Must have at least 16-18 years of total IT experience.
  • Extensive experience with healthcare EHR systems.
  • Proficiency in Inter Systems Caché Database, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or similar database scripting environments.
  • Strong understanding of data migration methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.


Desirable Skills

  • 2 years of experience with Texas DIR Project Delivery Framework and document templates. Familiarity with company's information architecture and information management methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Agile Scrum Methodology.
