Your missions

Location: Remote
Contract Duration: 06 months (With Possible Extensions)

Seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) tester with a minimum of five years related automated software testing experience for LRA. This role requires a highly organized and thorough QA, who is a self-starter and can demonstrate their extensive experience in automated testing.

Specific Qualifications or Experience Required:

Must have: Minimum 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation.
Must have: Experience in designing, writing, and executing automated test scripts.
Must have: Proficiency with Agile and Scrum methodologies
Must have: Proficiency in manual testing processes and experience in conducting manual tests when necessary
Experience working with the Health Authorities in BC would be an asset.
Programming Languages: Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
Automation Tools: Experience with automation testing tools like Selenium, JUnit, or similar.
Version Control Systems: Familiarity with version control systems like Git and GitHub
Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions
Frameworks: Knowledge of testing frameworks and tools such as MUnit, JUnit, or similar
APIs and Web Services: Ability to test APIs and web services using tools like Postman or RestAssured.
Database/SQL: Basic understanding of databases and ability to write and execute SQL queries.
Defect Management Tools: Experience with tools like JIRA and Confluence.
Test tools: Experience with Testrail or similar
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in automated test scripts.
Willingness to stay updated with new tools, technologies, and testing methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and develop solutions.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Knowledge of FHIR, SMART on FHIR, HL7, APIs an asset.
Strong communication skills to support communication between technical and business teams.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organization and time management and documentation skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
