MuleSoft Software Expert

Job Description

We are seeking a talented MuleSoft Software Expert to join our team in a remote capacity. As a MuleSoft Software Expert, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing integration solutions that enhance our enterprise-wide electronic health record systems, similar to the success achieved by VistA Imaging in VA hospitals.

Please note that all applicants must be green card holders or U.S. citizens, as sponsorship is not available for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• The candidate must have a deep understanding of development, testing, and support of the MuleSoft platform
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design, develop, and maintain MuleSoft-based integration solutions that capture and manage diverse data types including clinical images, scanned documents, and motion videos, seamlessly integrating them into electronic health records.
• Leverage MuleSoft Anypoint Platform to configure APIs, policies, and connectors that ensure efficient and secure data transmission and storage.
• Work closely with our development and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, optimizing system performance and reliability.
  
  

Requirements:

• US Citizen or Green Card holder. Sponsorship is not available for this position.,
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, preferably in a healthcare or similar industry.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and SOAP web services.
• Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and best practices.
• Experience with Salesforce integration using MuleSoft or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) format and medical image repositories.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active VA clearance is highly preferred.
• Salesforce Administration and/or Salesforce development is highly preferred.
• MuleSoft Certified Developer or Architect.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems or healthcare IT solutions.
• Knowledge of medical imaging technologies and standards.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
