About The Position
As a pivotal member of the Velosio team, the Enterprise Technical Architect holds a multifaceted role, encompassing leadership, technical expertise, and client engagement. This role spans various domains, including billable project work, sales support, and project technical lead support. The Enterprise Technical Architect plays a central role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects, the alignment of solutions with client needs, and the continuous enhancement of Velosio's service offerings.
Your Day Might Look Like
Billable Project Work (70%):
- Spearhead the design, development, and implementation oversight of Microsoft-based solutions and integrations.
- Collaborate closely with project teams to delineate architecture requirements, design patterns, and best practices, with a keen focus on integrations, security, and capacity/performance optimization.
- Exhibit hands-on technical aptitude across Microsoft Azure, Office 365, Dynamics 365, and other pertinent Microsoft technologies.
- Conduct thorough solution reviews, performance optimizations, and troubleshooting, ensuring the robustness and stability of deliverables.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for resolving technical challenges encountered throughout project execution.
Sales Support
- Collaborate synergistically with the sales team and solution architects to comprehend client needs and tailor solutions leveraging Microsoft technologies accordingly.
- Actively engage in pre-sales endeavors, encompassing client meetings, solution presentations, and the development of tailored proposals.
- Furnish technical guidance and support in crafting project estimates, statements of work, and project plans.
- Contribute to the creation of compelling technical proposals and presentations, articulating the value proposition of Velosio solutions persuasively to prospective clients.
Project Technical Lead Support
- Collaborate intimately with project solution architects to translate business imperatives into meticulously crafted technical solutions aligned with Microsoft best practices and industry benchmarks.
- Contribute significantly to the development of solution architectures, technical blueprints, and implementation strategies.
- Offer mentorship and guidance to project teams, ensuring steadfast adherence to architectural guidelines and design principles.
- Remain abreast of emerging Microsoft technologies, trends, and best practices, integrating them into Velosio's solution repertoire.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- A minimum of 10 years of demonstrable experience in architecting and implementing Microsoft-based solutions, with a focal emphasis on Dynamics 365 (F&O / CE), Azure, and Microsoft 365.
- A proven track record of delivering sophisticated projects within a consulting or professional services environment
- Proficiency in diverse domains including security, authentication, complex integrations, APIs, service bus, performance optimization, and data migrations.
- Familiarity with architectural frameworks such as TOGAF is preferred.
- A robust understanding of cloud computing principles, microservices architecture, and DevOps practices.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal aptitudes, facilitating effective interaction with clients, sales teams, and technical stakeholders.
- Possession of Microsoft certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect is highly desirable.
- Availability for travel as necessitated by client meetings and project engagements.
