This is a remote position.
Schedule:
Monday- Friday 7:30am-4:00 PM AZ time (MST) with a 30 min unpaid lunch break
This position is a full time 36-40 hour work week,
General Purpose of Position:
Primary goal of the Purchasing Agent is to generate purchase orders per
project and follow up for eta and tracking from vendors. This person will work
directly with the Director of Purchasing and Logistics and their specific daily
tasks within the department.
Summary of Responsibilities/Duties:
Generate Purchase Orders, Organize and record all PO information on our PO tracker
document for record retention and company visibility, follow up on all orders per the department
standards, run tracking numbers per order and update eta’s, data entry in Salesforce per job
(shipping costs, serial #’s when applicable, complete tracking details), as well as current
projects in process RMA management. Updating product costs in Salesforce opportunities and
globally for products and services. Vendor relations and sourcing discounts, promos, and spiffs.
All other duties to be assigned.
Type of Experience/ Soft Skills Needed:
Must have excellent organizational, communication (written & verbal), time
management and interpersonal skills, Must be organized and self-motivated,
be expected to analyze information, deal with complexity and multiple tasks at
once. Must be comfortable working with online Salesforce CRM, Smartsheets,
Slack Communication & Google G Suite experience is highly encouraged.
This position requires attention to detail, confidentiality, thoroughness,
customer relationships, organization, and exceptional documentation skills.
