The ideal candidate will work closely with the Commercial Lead in the UK and functionally with the regional Marketing Lead, therefore by nature you will be collaborative and cross functional with the desire to operate as one team. You will come with a strong marketing flair and commercial understanding, which shows your project management & business acumen skills to everyone!
For this role, you will need to be situated in Central UK, for ease to travel to our Key Retailers.
Primary Objective:
Overall responsibility for the UK marketing strategy, budget process and planning cycle
Drive understanding of consumer needs and generate actionable insights within relevant segments
Overall strategic direction, and hands of execution of our local brand and trade marketing activation
Use data to report on marketing results, impact and recommendations for future action and investment
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of key competitors in the market, to drive insights into the business and ensure we remain competitive
Share best practices across the EMEA organization
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities will include:
• Define, develop, and implement regional strategic and tactical annual marketing plans to achieve sales and contribution targets and other key marketing objectives
• Work with the central brand team to design and develop fully integrated launch campaign materials to successfully deliver new product launches
• Develops digital marketing strategy by studying economic indicators, tracking changes in supply and demand, identifying customers and their current and future needs, and monitoring the competition.
• Plans and executes all web, SEO/SEM, CRM, email, social media, video and display advertising campaigns.
• Proactively manage relationships with external agencies and internal stakeholders to identify target audiences and key messages for new and existing products
• Lead the Campaign Process and ensure campaigns are integrated on and offline, driving sales and profitability for existing products, as well as launching new products to market
• Lead the retail partnership marketing strategy and execution, including negotiating, developing and implementing efficient joint-marketing plans with our key retail partners
• Improve brand presence across trade through excellence in in-store planning, execution and tracking in alignment with the annual marketing priorities
Plan & Implement Trade events, with all key retailers to drive brand & Product awareness.
• Accelerate the conversion in-store, with online retailers and in our own direct-to-consumer channels
• Analyse and report on campaign activity to ensure that KPIs and objectives are set to optimise campaign performance in support of business profitability targets
Requirements:
At least 5 years experience in online and offline marketing in a fast-paced premium consumer goods industry or agency environment.
Track record of executing successful in-store and performance marketing campaigns
Experience of working with marketing agencies/ suppliers such as Design & Print.
Clear data-driven approach with excellent quantitative analysis skills.
Strong financial and business acumen
Management of social media channels
Experience in working with influencers and ambassadors
