Job Description

Due to customer connectivity, we are requiring this role to be located in or around one of the following markets: Oklahoma City, OK; Memphis, TN; Bentonville, AR; or Kansas City, MO/KS.

Position Summary
The Senior Customer Retail Manager (Sr. CRM) will serve as a geographically based retail arm of the sales team and will be accountable for driving the selling, merchandising and distribution efforts at store level for assigned accounts. This position will represent the total Kraft Heinz portfolio through pursuing the following business strategies: 1) Ensuring customer agreements are completed and upheld 2) Driving distribution & share growth through shelving, new item, void closure and reset activity 3) Selling against promotional and incremental opportunities to achieve revenue targets 4) Price monitoring and management.

Primary Job Duties:

  • Develop and improve field customer relationships
  • Accountable for 6-7 HQ accounts leading all aspects of KHC relationship at headquarter level. You will be fully accountable for delivering sales and profit objectives for these accounts. Location of HQ Accounts:
    • Oklahoma City area,
    • Northeast Arkansas area
    • Springfield, Missouri area
    • Salem, MO area
  • Also routed to 6-10 Retail Store.
  • Prepare and present plans minimally quarterly in person to each Headquarter Location. Will call on customers virtually between in person meetings.
  • Complete sales & shelving strategies to achieve and surpass revenue, distribution and share targets for all assigned customers.
  • Ensure effective execution of customer agreement and enabler programs.
  • Work in a team environment with Account Leads and team leadership to improve growth opportunities.

Expected Skills & Qualifications:

  • Sales experience preferred
  • Strong written / oral communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of Excel, Power Point and Word.
  • Good business math skills.
  • Ability to work with autonomy with minimal direction
  • Valid Driver's License including a favorable driving record (a driving record will be requested as part of the recruitment process)
  • Ability to be present and working in stores as early as 7:30AM Monday - Friday based on business needs
  • Ability to work during the weeks leading up to days of critical business need (national holidays plus the big game)
  • Proven interpersonal skills and ability to communicate/influence/establish relationships with key contacts in assigned territories (all levels of management/associates)
  • Ability to use statistical skills to identify/evaluate/communicate category performance and store results/opportunities

Essential Role Functions:

  • Perform optimally, maintain poise, and display integrity under all conditions
  • Carry out multiple, detailed instructions
  • Recognize and anticipate potential safety hazards, follows all safety protocol, and takes appropriate precautions
  • Must be able to engage in physical activities vital to construct displays and stock food product, such as lifting 50 lbs., stretching, reaching, and bending
  • Field sales position that requires travel (often 4 hour+) to assigned stores and Headquarter Locations via Company-provided vehicle; acceptable driving record (as outlined in Company policy) is required to acquire Company vehicle and maintain employment
  • Up to an average of 5 nights per month overnight travel is required

Base Salary Range: $75,600.00 - $94,500.00
Target Total Cash Range: $90,720.00 - $113,400.00

Target total cash represents this role's annualized cash earning potential at target (base salary + target bonus). Target total cash is contingent on targeted company performance achievement and individual attainment of performance goals. Therefore, target total cash is not guaranteed earnings.

The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
