POSITION SUMMARY

Join an industry-leader in insulation-related specialty fabricated products, HVAC products, safety supplies, thermal and acoustical insulation supplies, and maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) supplies and help drive efficiency efforts. Be responsible for building division level goals, executing plans and managing projects in support of the Operations Value Streams and utilize data analysis to monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

POSITION LOCATION: Position is 100% work from home in any U.S. state.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Create dashboards with leading and lagging indicators that allow leaders to monitor their organizations more effectively.
  • Responsible for creating tools to track and manage performance through data.
  • Provide analysis to support and/or challenge actions to ensure goal achievement.
  • Identify, facilitate, and lead projects and meetings to drive improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Inventory.
  • Partner with Sales and Manufacturing to establish tools and methodologies for addressing production/customer/quality issues.
  • Assist in developing a Continuous Improvement (CI) roadmap and driving lean manufacturing philosophy throughout all functions.
  • Improve the use of processes and metrics, especially between support functions and manufacturing, to drive a results-oriented culture.
  • Work with the various sites, in partnership with the CI Manager, to plan and execute short term and long-term operational goals using lean tools and processes.
  • Train and mentor business process owners, branch managers and functional leaders in the concepts of CI and the other lean and six sigma tools available.
  • Collaborate with CI Manager, branch managers and other functions to manage the annual budget for the division, including productivity savings and capital expenditures.
  • Team up with branch personnel in identifying improvements in equipment, processes, or technologies to assure satisfactory process capability and achieve cost improvements.

EDUCATION

  • Minimum Degree: U.S. Master’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent
  • Course of study: Industrial Engineering or Industrial Engineering Technologies

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 2 years in the job offered or a related occupation.
  • 2 years’ experience with Continuous Improvement in a manufacturing setting.
  • 2 years’ experience driving lean and six sigma manufacturing philosophy in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Inventory functions
  • 2 years’ experience reviewing and assessing operations standards in a manufacturing setting, including with respect to productivity savings and capital expenditures and equipment, processes, and technologies
  • experience with business intelligence tools and ERP, including SXE and Oracle.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must be willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the work schedule.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

  • Salary: $115,000 - $160,000/year.
