Data Scientist, Senior
Key Role:
Help to provide insights into Diversity and Inclusion data. Gather, clean data, and work with domain SMEs to understand the datasets. Explore and analyze data to gain insights and find trends and patterns. Create data visualizations and briefings to communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences. Supervise team members by tracking job performance and providing some technical guidance. Analyze and extract key data and information to meet the organization's information system needs and requirements. Assist and participate in data validation and cleaning to ensure the quality and integrity of data. Identify and collect data sources using specific tools or techniques and input them into the organization's information system.
Basic Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in the data science or analytics field
Experience with using programming languages to manipulate and analyze data with Python and SQL
Experience in working with machine learning, data mining, statistics, and algorithms
Experience with the analysis of data and creation of data-driven visualizations
Ability to create reports and present findings based on scientific analysis
Ability to communicate findings to clients and stakeholders
Ability to mentor or supervise team members
Ability to collaborate with team members and a variety of different analytic roles
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Bachelor's degree in CS
Additional Qualifications:
Experience in Focus on Diversity and Inclusion efforts
Experience with cloud platforms, including AWS
Experience with creating charts and dashboards in Tableau
Ability to execute projects and tasks with minimal guidance and supervision
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
Business Analytics, Data Mining, or Statistical Analysis Certification
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
