Talent Management Senior Associate

This role supports the Firm’s dynamic Talent Development & Management (TDM) team which is dedicated to providing outstanding service to our internal clients and employees. This role requires integrity, forward thinking and a proactive approach to customer service. This role functions as a partner to the business in addressing both short term and long term organizational strategic objectives and participates in and/or leads the development/design, implementation, and education of talent management strategic initiatives in the following areas: performance management processes (including goal setting, feedback, and performance reviews), performance management education strategies, and career growth/progression initiatives, including mentor programs. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Partners with or leads team members in the development/design, implementation, education, and ongoing support of talent management initiatives with a primary focus on performance management for owners and employees, providing resources/tools and managing/evolving enterprise processes.

    This includes:
    • Providing system management support as a subject matter expert for performance management.
    • Seeking internal voice of employee to capture sentiment and identify areas of improvement.
    • Staying abreast of best and/or competitive talent management practices and providing competitive intelligence in a timely manner to appropriate individuals.
       
  • Partners with TDM team members and firm leaders to design and develop enterprise learning resources and strategies that enable successful performance management at the firm, with a focus on behaviors and skill building.
    • Gathers data and conducts initial analysis on data to offer insights or recommendations on solution effectiveness or other decisions.
    • Provides critical leverage in advising, developing, planning, executing, and evaluating the practice and program curriculum to support the Firm, business partner, talent, and learning strategies.
    • Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
      • Serving as a learning advisor to leaders, subject matter experts, curriculum owners, and developers to uncover and define learning needs and design appropriate learning and development solutions that address the needs of the business
      • Leading project teams to design or development performance solutions
      • Working closely with key stakeholders to support the overall success of learning and development plans
         
  • Manage performance product solutions, such as mentoring programs.
    • Identify program & business needs, aligning product features with business objectives, and crafting a detailed product roadmap.
    • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to prioritize new features, collects customer feedback, and interprets market trends.
    • Manage the execution of programs inside of key tools in alignment with strategy.
    • Proactively seek process and product improvement based on feedback, using data, and within prioritization parameters.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, or a related field,
  • or equivalent experience (required)

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Strong skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint (required)
  • Effective project and time management skills (required)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – the ability to communicate information clearly; synthesis and editing skills (required)
  • Analytical skills – ability to prioritize, synthesize and disseminate information (required)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills including effective listening, ability to express ideas and build consensus (required)
  • Operational knowledge of Workday (preferred)
  • Operational knowledge of Smartsheet (preferred)
  • Web design/usability skills (preferred)     

EXPERIENCE

  • 2-5 years relevant experience in human resources or similar field (learning and design, career development, performance management, etc.) (required)

LEADERSHIP SKILLS

  • Ability to work independently (self-motivation and focus) and a strong client service/support orientation (required)
  • Ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed, multi-location organization Demonstrated collaboration skills
  • Strong ability to consider a variety of inputs and bring forth clear recommendations to team
  • Ability to review team members’ work

Compensation Range: $75,400 - $124,300

Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
