About the role

New Team, New Culture, New Job! - A rare opportunity to be a part of an exciting companywide transformation!

Team Global Express is currently seeking experienced and qualified Forklift Operator to commence immediately at our Launceston depot.  This is a Full Time, Permanent Opportunity to join our team and apply your experience by coordinating and loading our general freight for our interstate and regional customers and clients.

• Full Time Permanent positions – Monday - Friday.

What you’ll do

• Undertake safe and effective loading, unloading, movement, restraint, closing the curtains and storage of freight as required. 
• Take additional care with freight to ensure there are no damages.
• Always check load restraint, packaging, and the condition of freight before it travels.
• Report all damages to freight or forklift to your supervisor immediately.

What you’ll bring

• Experience in the transport industry
• Palletised freight experience preferable.
• A valid Forklift License is essential.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in a team within a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to adhere to WHS and Safety Regulations
• Experience loading and unloading trucks with a sound knowledge of Load Restraints and Dangerous Goods desirable. 
• Excellent attitude, a good work ethic and reliability
• Ability to pass pre-checks (medical/background/D&A)
