The Commercial Operations Associate position is a trainee role that gives the opportunity to both gain exposure and build skills and experience through meaningful contributions. This is a global role, and the successful applicant will benefit from working closely with colleagues across the world, including the UK, US and Scandinavia.
We are looking for an individual with a successful track record in a graduate role in a corporate setting, ideally with ~5 years’ experience. The individual will have a good base of knowledge, will be capable of managing their time and priorities and looking to progress their career in a new organization.
The Commercial Operations Associate will work closely with team members and colleagues from across different departments. There will be a range of different initiatives and projects to support plus some regular activities to own. The emphasis is on long-term career development.
Pricing: partake in pricing initiatives which can involve competitive analysis, costing and working collaboratively with sales, marketing, R&D and services teams to establish new and updated pricing models.
Packaging: working closely with marketing and product teams to ensure all material surrounding products and services is customer ready, professionally produced and catches the attention. This will involve supporting campaigns and digital content.
Commercial: working with senior management to ensure all aspects of product and service management are integrated, communicated effectively and driving positive collaboration.

Essential Duties and Accountabilities
The Commercial Operations Associate will take responsibility for the following:
Packaging: support collaborations between product teams in IFS Research & Development (R&D), Global Customer Services (GCS) and the respective marketing teams as products and services are brought to market. Support and lead content creation with technology experts, support campaigns, work with online and digital teams.
Commercial: there are a wide and varied list of topics under commercial, but essentially this means working with a number of different departments to make smart, informed decisions about how the company makes money. This can involve looking internally at what we do uniquely well or can improve, as well as looking externally for ideas and a competitive edge. This also requires consistent and clear communication with the wider business and our customers. The Commercial Operations Associate will gradually take on a number of the internal communication responsibilities.
