FP&A Business Analyst

About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Head of FP&A, the FP&A Business Analyst supports the business and collaborates closely with both the finance and wider business teams to deliver data-driven analysis and insights that drive informed decision-making.

This position provides responsive and efficient financial information and analysis with a strong stakeholder focus.

About you

You are a true team player with strong experience providing well presented, accurate and timely information that influences the decision-making of Executives and Boards. Your ability to empower clients in their business planning, decision making and performance through provision of specialist knowledge and advice will be key to your success in this role.

To ensure success you will have the following skills and experience:

• Excellent financial and analytical know how and skills, and application of financial and management accounting principles and practices.
• Proven track record in delivering effective financial business partnering services, building strong relationships, and collaborating across the business.
• Ability to confidently create presentations of financial analysis and information to enable accurate and timely communications with executives and senior leaders to support decision making.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, with experience in writing and presenting financial analysis and reports
• Demonstrated experience in conducting end-to-end financial analysis with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to be hands-on with strong financial and data analysis capabilities and to provide strong commercial insights and reasoning to drive key business decisions.
• Demonstrated ability in the review, development, and continuous improvement of financial business partnering frameworks, strategies, and policies.
• Finance or Accounting Degree and Membership of CPA/CA or CFA.
• Knowledge of or experience using systems such as Workday, Adaptive Planning, Power Query, PowerBI, Tableau or similar would be highly regarded.
