Role: Shopify QA Analyst
Work schedule: Full Time | 40 hours per week | Argentina Time
Salary Range: US$ 3,500 - US$ 4,000 per month (Dependent on your skills and experience)

About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Analyst to ensure the quality and integrity of our client’s Shopify Storefronts. You'll play a crucial role in meticulously evaluating designs, understanding functionalities, implementation of new features, and pinpointing any discrepancies to uphold a flawless shopping journey for our client. On a daily basis, you would be required to QA bug fixes or new features added while keeping constant communication with our client’s PMs.

A keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of Shopify theme editor are essential for success in this role.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Visual Quality Assurance: Thoroughly review and analyze Shopify Storefront designs to ensure alignment with specifications and brand guidelines.
• Functional & Regression Testing: Conduct rigorous functional & regression testing, including but not limited to navigation, product display, checkout process, and responsive design across various devices and browsers.
• Effective Communication & Collaboration: Collaborate closely with developers and project managers to communicate and resolve any identified issues or discrepancies to ensure an efficient delivery of new features or storefronts.
• Documentation: Document and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test reports for reference and future improvement initiatives.
• Performance: Be able to monitor and assess the performance and usability

Requirements

• Proven experience in Quality Assurance or a related field, preferably within the e-commerce or web development industry.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for ensuring high-quality user experiences.
• Ability to effectively communicate with team members, with experience working remotely.
• Proficiency in Shopify theme editor or willingness to learn, with the ability to navigate, customize, and troubleshoot themes effectively.
• Ability to adapt and learn quickly, particularly in understanding the intricacies of our custom theme and its implementation.
• Familiarity with design principles and the ability to review designs for consistency, usability, and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address issues proactively.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, Liquid (Shopify's templating language), and experience with developer tools.
• Experience with testing tools and methodologies, including but not limited to bug-tracking systems, browser developer tools, and automated testing frameworks, is a plus.
