The Area Service Engineer for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for installing and maintaining Beckman Coulter Diagnostics instruments within an assigned geography, maintain excellent customer relationships to ensure business continuity and foster growth, adhere to company field service policies and procedures and ensure full compliance, collaborate with cross functional team and Channel Partners to manage third party service operations in the area.

This position is part of the Service Department located in Srinagar and will be fully remote. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

You will be a part of the North Service Team and report to the State Service Manager - Chandigarh responsible for technical service delivery to the existing and new customers of Beckman Coulter Diagnostics in Jammu & Kashmir. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Grow along with a leading IVD segment organization by providing on-site support for our instruments which will lead to advancing healthcare and patient supports.
  • Interact with our team of service professionals to enhance technical knowledge and learn new technology and work with other cross functional experts and gain knowledge of various aspects of business in the healthcare industry.
  • Coordinate with Channel Partner Team to manage instruments with Third Party Service in addition to managing direct service delivery, Uptime management, Service Spares Management and Service Activity documentation.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Education

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/ Biomedical)

  • Experience along with Background and functional Knowledge.

    6-12 years experienced professional with background of working on High Throughput Automated Hematology, Clinical Chemistry, and Immunoassay instruments.                                                                                 

    Good written and verbal communication skills to be able to communicate technical/ administrative matters effectively to customers and internal team.                                                                                                

    Good understanding of Service documentation systems and business process flow.

Computer Proficiency – Windows OS, MS -Office, MS Teams, Networking and Interface, Ability to learn new tools or software as per the need.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Independently handling one or more product group (example Immunoassay Analyzer, Hematology Analyzer or Chemistry Analyzer) with timely expert support.
  • Handling team of technical associates at the time of need. Able to guide and mentor junior team members and gain followership.
  • Building strong Client Relationship
