Job Type: Full-time

Work Hours: Monday - Friday, Option #1: 8 AM to 1 PM EST with 3 hours flexed within the day. Option #2: 8 AM to 5 PM EST. This is a full overnight shift and an option if the candidate is interested in working with these hours as it would be optimal for the company

Holidays: TBD

Pay Range: 1,150 - 1,500 USD/month (offer will be based on experience)

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a Bid Coordinator/Estimator to oversee daily quoting and to help maintain a portfolio of clients. The job entails handling all the quoting requests that come in daily and working with the Client Manager to handle all issues from both internal Engineering teams and client side as well.

We are a fast-moving growth business and grew 40% last year with a goal to double in size again in two years. We are looking for this individual to work within a small team to continue to grow the client base in a variety of ways. Some of the activities include components of operations, engineering, and other business functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Review Project Drawings, Specifications, and Customer provided information to create and send proposals as requested. Ideal candidates will utilize multiple tools to maintain a high degree of accuracy quoting different types of services and products, including interfacing with Client manager and Engineering team when needed.
  • Contact customers when additional information is needed to provide a proposal, or to provide clarifications, answer questions and provide additional information as needed, and ensure that interactions are followed up to maintain a high degree of customer service.
  • Assist with creation of change orders or proposal additions when requested by customers.
  • Assist with Purchase Orders, Cancellations, Label Printing, and other customer requests.
  • Interface with clients and engineering team to manage relationships and address any issues that may arise.
  • Work hand in hand with Client Manager and Vice President on business related tasks

Requirements

  • 1-3 years’ experience in a professional services environment, electrical industry preferred
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
  • Passion for customer service and client success
  • Excellent communication and Organization skills
  • Reliability, professionalism, and good judgment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
