Your missions

This role is about:

As part of the Core Banking Team, you will be responsible for crafting the services that form the backbone of our Banking Product.  The Core Banking Team aims to craft modern and scalable solutions based on the departments’ initiatives. We are customer-centric as all of our initiatives impact directly our customers.  

Responsibilities:  

  • Work closely with Business Analyst and Engineers validating assumptions and testing user flows.  
  • Participate in requirements gathering and understand business objectives for new features and system changes. 
  • Test features according to Acceptance Criteria and overall Sprint goals.  
  • Design and develop comprehensive test plans covering functionality, performance, security, and usability. 
  • Execute manual and automated test cases using various testing tools and methodologies. 
  • Identify, document, and report bugs and defects in a clear and concise manner. 
  • Analyze test results, recommend solutions, and track bug fixes to closure. 
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback from a testing perspective. 
  • Advocate for quality over quantity in every single feature delivered.  
  • Be the first line of defense when it comes to bug reporting.  

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in the payment domain.
  • At least 3 years of experience in software test
  • Knowledge and understanding of quality assurance and testing processes (for example ISTQB)
  • Experience with source control systems and deployment processes (for example GitLab CI/CD)
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, Cypress.io, Gherkin/Cucumber.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Outstanding attention to details
  • Upper-intermediate or higher English level
  • A customer-centric, empathetic mindset with excellent listening skills
  • An ability to focus on what counts, creating simple solutions to deliver fast results.
