About the role:
Tempcover is looking for an experienced Social Media Manager who’ll be responsible for organic strategy on all social media platforms. We’re looking for an enthusiastic Social Media professional who’s up to date with the social media landscape, and has a good eye for emerging trending topics. You’ll be responsible for building Tempcover.com’s brand perception and establishing our clearly defined personality on social media.

Social media at TempCover is fast-paced, so someone who uses creativity to solve problems and proactively delivers engaging content will thrive in this role. You’re able to juggle incoming customer engagements and deliver valuable insight into customer pain points to key stakeholders. You’re an ambitious person who loves all aspects of social media, who understands trends and subcultures and is always at the forefront of the latest developments. You’re cool under pressure, incredibly organised and have a creative mind. 

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Oversee, plan and deliver original and engaging multimedia content across different social platforms
  • Manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels such as Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, Quora, LinkedIn and X (formerly Twitter)
  • Develop additional social media platforms as part of Tempcover.com’s branding 
  • Increase brand awareness, customer engagement and loyalty
  • Manage and facilitate social media communities by responding to social media posts, developing discussions and resolve all customer queries on social media platforms in a timely manner 
  • Keep up to date with our ‘aspirational brands’ and competitors, and report back relevant news to wider team 
  • Monitor social performance and make recommendations to make future campaign improvements
  • Analyse competitor activity and trending topics 
  • Work with teams across the business and external agencies to create engaging content that’s always-on and customer-first 
  • Work with advertising team to build brand awareness
  • Support the wider team with the execution of day-to-day or ad-hoc tasks.

What you'll bring to the role: 

Essentials:

  • Demonstrable experience with Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, Quora, LinkedIn and X (formerly Twitter)
  • Experience of working alongside a fast paced marketing team 
  • Strong analytical skills and able to present data to key stakeholders 
  • Excellent creative skills with strong experience in content creation for social media 
  • Experience working with external creative agencies
  • Experienced at managing marketing projects 
  • Experience in using social listening tools 
  • Experience in Google Analytics 

Desirables:

  • Experienced in managing social media in the finance, insurance or technology industry
