Collections Specialist

A Collections Specialist is a professional responsible for managing and recovering overdue payments from individuals or businesses. They work within various industries, such as finance, healthcare, retail, and telecommunications, to ensure that outstanding debts are collected in a timely and efficient manner. The role involves a combination of customer service, negotiation, and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Debt Collection:

• Contact customers via phone, email, or mail to remind them of overdue payments.
• Negotiate payment plans and settlements to recover outstanding debts.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and payment statuses.
• Provide information and assistance to customers regarding their accounts.
• Handle disputes and resolve issues related to billing and payments.

Compliance and Reporting:

• Ensure all collection activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.
• Prepare reports on collection activities and outcomes for management review.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Zendesk and Salesforce.
• Own laptop.
• Stable Wi-Fi.
• Backup power.
• Stability in previous work experience.

Remote Hours: 3 PM - 11 PM (Full Time)
