Your missions

Position Definition:

The incumbent will provide primary administrative and logistical support for the daily operations of the Alzheimer’s Disease Neuroimaging Initiative (ADNI).

 

Essential Functions:

Duties include project management for ADNI. This includes:

  • Assist in project management for co-enrollment and referral programs by training site study coordinators, helping to track referrals through enrollment/randomization process, project configuration, testing, approvals and launch
  • Assisting in-house software development team with: (1) troubleshooting reported technical errors, (2) recommendations for necessary modifications to resolve errors, (3) testing general website enhancements and (4) updating the Frequently Asked Questions webpage and other information disseminated via the websites or printed study materials related to technical issues, functionality and site design
  • Creating and updating internal and external documentation, such as SOPs
  • Coordination with the UCSF Institutional Review Board, other regulatory groups, and/or in-group IRB specialist to establish approvals and maintain compliance
  • Monitor emails and other communication from existing and prospective participants and respond to questions/concerns, escalate reportable events to leadership, and investigate potential technical issues, working with the Engineering team and/or other members of the Feedback team.
  • Development of recruitment and retention materials (i.e., email campaigns, printed brochures, website content, electronic newsletters and social media messages)
  • Review of email, enrollment, engagement, and retention metrics, including open/click/enrollment rates for specific email campaigns, participants’ demographics, referral source and user feedback for the purpose of improving user experience, future recruitment materials, and overall participation
  • Prepare and update recruitment websites and/or study specific social media channels
  • Attend weekly internal meetings as well as regular project and team meetings. Will also met with supervisor weekly to provide updates
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

 

Job Requirements:

  • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
  • Bachelor’s degree and at least two years related research experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Computer literacy in Windows and/or MAC platforms
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office (MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, tasks, and priorities to achieve desired goals
  • Ability to prioritize workload to ensure deadlines are met
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Ability to work respectfully and diplomatically with a diverse cohort of participant, faculty, and staff at all levels

 

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Atlassian software, including JIRA and Confluence
  • Experience with ZenDesk or similar customer communication software
  • Conversant in Spanish and/or working proficiency in Spanish reading and writing

 

Working Conditions/Environment:

The work environment for this position is an indoor office environment, with optional remote work from home. The incumbent may sustain posture in a seated position and may utilize a computer terminal for prolonged periods of time.

 

The base salary range for this position is $25.24 - $40.60 per hour. The base salary actually offered to a successful candidate will take into account various relevant and non-discriminatory business factors including, without limitation, the candidate’s geographic location, job-related experience, knowledge, and skills, and education, as well as internal equity considerations. A successful candidate may also be eligible to earn additional compensation including bonuses.
