Job Description

In this role candidates will be responsible for supporting a diverse range of projects that help shape what residential energy efficiency programs will look like in the future. CLEAResult seeks a confident leader with relationship-building, client management and business acumen skills to grow with our company. The ideal candidate will display a passion for accelerating the adoption of residential energy efficiency technologies and is enthusiastic about using data to design the programs of the future.

This position will be primarily tasked with supporting measure development, 5-year planning, and implementation of research projects, pilots and new initiatives. This candidate will also be responsible for client relationships, contract deliverables and project management to ensure that projects are completed on-time at a high level of quality.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Provide oversight and guidance for implementation teams to ensure programs are delivered as designed to support a cost effective energy efficiency portfolio
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in program designs prior to formal third-party evaluations.
  • Support measure development for residential programs that encompass existing single family homes, retail products and manufactured housing.
  • Development includes both updates to existing measure analysis and the development of new measures.
  • Coordinate and serve as a technical consultant for internal and client program managers on design of measure offerings and their subsequent implementation.
  • Co-develop multiyear residential energy efficiency budgets with the residential program management team
  • Incorporate client IRP data into long term forecasting tools to show potential compared to energy efficiency measure production.
  • Conduct market analysis. Lead the development of tools to analyze large data sets (including energy usage, geolocation data, past program participation, public and third-party data sets) to support the design, execution and evolution of energy efficiency and demand response programs
  • Data visualization. Support the implementation of new tools and software to share analytics with internal teams, clients, and end use customers.
  • Develops technical solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.

Additional Requirements

  • Experience supporting and/or consulting on aspects of cost effectiveness 
  • 5-8 years combined work experience with planning and evaluating residential energy efficiency programs. 
  • Team-oriented, hands-on, highly skilled, adaptive and client-focused.
  • Comfortable working in complex environments with many opinions.
  • Strong Microsoft Office, SharePoint, written and reporting skills.
  • Experience or familiarity with querying languages, statistical and data presentation software packages such as SQL server, Power BI, SnapLogic, Python, Alteryx and R.
  • Experience scoping, conducting, organizing, coordinating and presenting research activities/contracts.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and communicate progress of task completion.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality; organized and process oriented.
