The Job:  

We are 15 months post implementation!!   Come join our team and take us across the Workday line and to the next level!!    As a Workday Subject Matter Expert, you’ll be part of our Global HRIS team, reporting to the Workday Product Development Manager, working as a virtual employee.    You’ll get to:  

  • Perform analysis on configuration, business processes, existing and new functionality.  Expert in the Workday Ecosystem with multi-module experience in Core HCM, Compensation, Absence, & Benefits. 
  • Operate as a designer of both business process and technical requirements and can ensure implemented solutions deliver incredible experiences.
  • Collaborate closely with product design and business partners to discover the most impactful solutions, and then work together to deliver those solutions.  Configures complex business processes as identified and approved by Product Development Manager and Solutions Architects
  • Analyzes any downstream technical impact from backlog resolution and/or release management activities.  Provides insights and recommendations related to these activities.
  • Works With the Enablement team to document all in system process flows for end users.
  • Contribute to large cross-functional initiatives and implementations that enable us to build outstanding experiences for our most important asset – our team members- to help us achieve our goal of accelerating Workday’s business growth.
  • Support, iterate, and test functionality and processes in Workday in partnership with your lead and Product Development analyst across functions
  • Partners and Collaborates with your Manager and Solutions Architect to support the review of continuous process improvement and their ongoing requests.
  • Collaborates with Tiered services and act as T3 technical support for issues related to business process configurations. Ensures issue’s resolutions and further identify knowledge management content if appropriate.
  • Completes in depth testing and debugging as needed
  • Supports regulatory and data compliance and adherence to business process controls.
  • Keeps abreast on Workday products, new features, releases, and integrated technologies in order to support continuous improvement.

The Person:

  • Min 5+ years as a Workday HRIS Administrator (configuration) required; Workday Implementation experience a plus
  • Workday Certifications Highly Preferred, Courses: Compensation and advanced compensation fundamentals, Certs: Compensation pro
  • Experience in other HRIS platforms (i.e. CRMs, ATS, Service Now, SFDC, etc.) a plus
  • Experience in Workday Implementation, Configuration & Training
  • Ability to collaborate with a cross-functional team
  • Ability to influence teammates and key stakeholders through use of data and logic.
  • Must have release management experience.
  • Ability to communicate complex information to multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to change plans to meet priorities and think out of the box to meet needs effectively.
  • Someone who understands that consistent innovation is the result of each member of the team contributing their ideas.
  • Advantage: experience in a multinational corporation
  • Experience with software development cycle and methodologies
  • Experience with testing methodology and approach
