About Salesforce

We’re Salesforce, the Customer Company, inspiring the future of business with AI+ Data +CRM. Leading with our core values, we help companies across every industry blaze new trails and connect with customers in a whole new way. And, we empower you to be a Trailblazer, too — driving your performance and career growth, charting new paths, and improving the state of the world. If you believe in business as the greatest platform for change and in companies doing well and doing good – you’ve come to the right place.

We are seeking an expert Technical Program Manager to drive technical programs for our Cloud Platform and Foundation multi-functional programs! You will focus on the adoption of our Container, EC2 platforms and CI/CD systems. You are metrics driven and have experience developing impactful input and output metrics. If you are looking for a challenge and an opportunity to grow as part of the effort to define the gold standard for cloud service adoption, then this role is for you.

In this role, you possess a strong passion for the customer experience, critical thinking, continuous integration and infrastructure deployment together with a technical background to structure large, multi-functional programs.

You understand the benefits of moving quickly and enjoy teaming up with engineers to take on hard problems. You are a harmonizer who can drive alignment across functions. You thrive when given the chance to create systems and processes that facilitate efficient collaboration and execution. You have experience collecting product and technical requirements for sophisticated projects that span multiple teams.

We are a small team making a large impact! We rapidly integrate and develop standard methodologies. If this sounds like it potentially aligns with your background, why not apply?!

Responsibilities
  • You are the hub to connect and deliver the programs to drive Slack’s Cloud platform in delivering our engineering customer solutions.

  • You actively drive process improvements across multiple functions within the team.

  • You design policies, processes, and systems that facilitate scaling and growth.

  • Provide hands-on project management during analysis, design, development, testing, release, and post release phases.

  • Build and maintain timelines, project plans, and communication artifacts to ensure everyone is operating from the most recent and accurate information.

  • Reduce risk by supervising dependencies and surfacing impediments.

  • Run and report metrics around KPIs, cost of service showbacks, etc

  • Lead all aspects of programs and projects within.

  • Partner with tech leads in facilitation of the development of strategic technical projects.

Requirements
  • At least 7years leading planning, resource management, project lifecycles, and workflows in a multifaceted product or engineering organization.

  • Strong verbal and written interpersonal skills, with sufficient level of technical capability to optimally connect with engineers and identify technical risks.

  • Ability to work independently and communicate across multiple time zones.

  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal/communication skills, and experience handling activities across multiple teams.

  • Ability to analyze robust data sets and synthesize them into stories and slides

  • Ability to write SQL to extract data from large data sets into executive level dashboards.

  • Proven track record of delivering sophisticated technical projects and programs with multi-functional teams.

  • Proficient in AWS Cloud offerings (or similar cloud services)

  • Experience shipping platforms using containers like Kubernetes/Amazon EKS and virtualization solutions like Amazon EC2.

Bonus Points

  • Proficient experience writing complex SQL or Tableau dashboards for Executive level reporting
