The FACTS SIS International Inside Sales Representative I’s primary focus is both to increase existing customers’ loyalty and product usage through upselling efforts into value-added services and to acquire new customers through a consultative sales process and relationship building using excellent customer services skills. This position requires minimal travel, with most communication occurring via phone, email and online meetings/webinars. This position will work in various markets across multiple continents/time zones in search of buyers of core solutions and value-added services for schools of all types/sizes. The role will be both direct sales and referrals as the strategy dictates.

Salary Range - $40,000 - $45,000 plus incentive plan

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.    Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest through cold calls and emails. 
2.    Generate sales ready meetings and opportunities for resellers through creative outbound communications.
3.    Efficiently manage a high volume of outbound communication.
4.    Sell directly and deliver customers to resellers for implementation and recurring fee growth.
5.    Effectively demonstrate core products to potential customers.
6.    Create proposals for targeted prospects or existing customers.
7.    Provide expertise and advice to potential prospects and current customers regarding product and service offerings.
8.    Accurately and consistently use Salesforce CRM to maintain records of contacts, accounts, leads, opportunities, updating, and report generation on a daily basis.
9.    Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets based upon annual sales plan. 
10.    Close deals in a highly competitive, consultative selling environment.
11.    Up-sell to existing reseller customers on behalf of resellers by providing education and additional knowledge of new and existing products and services.  
 


EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree in business, communications, marketing or related field, or combinations of business-related experience and education.

EXPERIENCE: 
1.    1-3 years of experience creating/maintaining business relationships via telephone phone.
2.    Customer service and call center experience a plus.
3.    Proven track record of high performance and achieving goals.
4.    Experience presenting via the web and in-person to both small and large groups.
5.    Experience in education or payment industry sales (particularly with technology and service sales) a plus.

5.    Comfort in initiating business conversations with decision makers.
6.    Ability to relate to and appreciate cultural diversity.
7.    Willingness to work outside normal business hours, arranging schedule as needed (avoiding overtime whenever possible), to accommodate multiple time zone differences.
8.    Ability to Identify and develop strategies to overcome obstacles in the prospect’s or current customer’s decision making process.
9.    Ability to build a strong pipeline, close new business and expand relationships with new and existing customers.
10.    Self-driven with excellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to take direction well.
11.    Strong computer skills including sales management/data management software, presentation software, web hosting applications, and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
12.    Strong follow-up skills and accuracy.
13.    A passion for K-12 education and an ability to speak knowledgably about the industry.
