Your missions

As a Senior Shopify Liquid Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the performance of the Shopify store to ensure a seamless user experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and optimize the performance of our Shopify store to ensure a seamless user experience.
  • Regularly update the Shopify theme to align with brand guidelines, industry best practices, and enhancements.
  • Assist in building out a modular component library with our new design system.
  • Design and implement A/B tests, applying winning modifications to the Shopify theme.
  • Report directly to the Project Manager, providing regular updates on project progress and performance metrics

Requirements

Must-have Skills / Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience with Shopify platform with frontend development-focused experience.
  • Shopify 2.0 experience
  • Strong Proficiency in Shopify's templating language Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Proficiency in working with Shopify API for custom solutions

Skills:

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Experience working with third-party Apps and cross-functionality.
  • Understanding of conversion optimization best practices.
  • Experience with version control.

Advantageous or Nice to haves:

  • Understanding of SEO best practices.
  • Experience split testing with VWO/Optimizely/Convert/etc is a plus.
  • Experience with Recharge and Rebuy Shopify apps is a plus.
  • Experience with Subscription-based eCommerce company.
  • Experience working with compilers such as gulp or vite and experience working with shopify + github
