The Digital Asset Manager plays a critical role in managing the company's digital asset library. As a part of our e-commerce team, they will handle the tagging, organizing, and management of all digital assets to ensure ease of use and findability. The ideal candidate will possess a keen understanding of digital asset management best practices, own an incredible eye for detail, and demonstrate a passion for digital content organization and structure.
Responsibilities:
Data Management
- Establish and maintain the process of uploading, tagging, and organizing digital assets in our DAM system.
- Work closely with the various teams to capture, store, and retrieve digital assets efficiently.
Asset Optimization
- Apply appropriate metadata tags to assets for effective and efficient searchability.
- Ensure proper categorization and organization of digital content across the platform.
Retouching
Either perform the retouching yourself or oversee outsourced team of retouchers
Requirements:
Technical Skills
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a Digital Asset Manager role or similar positions.
Optional but highly prefer candidates who have retouching experience
- Familiarity and experience with leading DAM systems or platforms.
- Proficiency in data categorization, tagging, and organizing.
Soft Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
Mentality
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to finding solutions.
- Adaptable with the ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness and motivation to continually learn and embrace new technologies related to digital asset management.
