Position Summary: 
As an Associate Supervising Clinician at Daybreak Health in California, your role will provide clinical supervision and guidance to a team of mental health clinicians. You will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of Clinical Supervision to Associate Clinicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Supervision: Provide individual and group supervision to a team of up to 6 associate clinicians. Offer guidance, support, and mentorship to promote professional development and ensure adherence to ethical and clinical standards.
  • Conduct client intakes in collaboration with the Client Success Team (CST).
  • Collaboration and Communication: Foster effective collaboration and communication among the clinical team, promoting a supportive and inclusive work environment. Coordinate with the Clinical Team Lead on all administrative work.
  • Meetings: Attend monthly Associate Supervisor Clinical Team Meeting (CTM)

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Provide supervision, clinical collaboration, and support.
  • Complete a Supervision plan in collaboration with your assigned associate.
  • Ensure that weekly logs are submitted to the Supervisor by the Associate for sign-off.
  • Complete all necessary documentation on time. This includes reviewing and signing off on the associate’s notes and reviewing the intake questionnaire during the hour of weekly clinical supervision.
  • Supervising coverage for other supervisors, as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.

Licensure:

  • Licensure: Hold a valid and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Psychologist. This ensures compliance with the licensing requirements necessary to practice as a mental health therapist and is in accordance with State Regulatory Boards.
  • Supervisor License: You must be an Approved Supervisor by the state board, which includes the CEUs required to supervise.
  • Youth Experience: At least 2 years of experience working with youth and providing school-based services. This experience demonstrates an understanding of the unique needs and challenges young clients face and the ability to provide appropriate support and interventions in educational settings.

Skills:

  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant software.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of the use of the Zoom platform.
