Location: Remote USA - This role can be performed anywhere from the United States.

The Role

GoPro is seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Manager to join our hardware mounts and accessories product team. The Product Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the execution of our mounts and accessories product roadmap, focusing on delivering cutting-edge solutions for existing and new product lines. This individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define product strategies, prioritize features, and guide the product development lifecycle from concept to launch. .

 

What You Will Do

  • Product Strategy: Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with GoPro’s overall business objectives. Continuously assess market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation. 
  • Roadmap Execution: Understand and execute on long-term product roadmaps that prioritize key features and enhancements based on customer needs, market demand, and business goals. Define product milestones and timelines to ensure timely delivery of releases. 
  • Requirements Definition: Gather and analyze user requirements, market research, and feedback to define detailed product requirements and specifications. Clearly communicate product requirements to engineering teams and ensure alignment with stakeholders. 
  • Feature Prioritization: Make informed decisions on feature prioritization based on factors including customer value, technical feasibility, and business impact. Conduct regular reviews and adjustments to the product roadmap as necessary. 
  • Product Marketing: Be an expert in the competitive landscape and drive product positioning, messaging, copy, requirements, and naming. Consult on asset creation that is authentic and drives awareness and demand. 
  • Product Operations: Responsible for setup and management of assigned SKUs in our PLM systems. 
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to drive alignment and execution across all stages of the product development lifecycle. Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment to encourage creativity and innovation. 
  • Product Launch: Coordinate product launches and go-to-market strategies in collaboration with marketing and sales teams. Develop compelling product messaging, positioning, and collateral to drive awareness and adoption. 
  • Stakeholder Management: Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including executives, partners, and customers. Act as a trusted advisor on product-related matters and represent the voice of the customer within the organization. 

 

Skills We’re Excited About

  • Proven track record of successfully bringing consumer products to market. 
  • Deep understanding of camera technology, imaging, or related technologies.

The pay range for this role is between $98,175 - $131,500. Actual pay within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including your residence location and prior work experience. Equity, benefits, and a discretionary bonus may be additional forms of compensation for this role and are not included in the provided pay range.
