The Data Solution Architect is a crucial component to ensuring the day-to- day operations of our clients run smoothly and efficiently. An ideal candidate for our team would have construction, technology, and/or product management experience, although not all are a requirement. What you’ll do…
- Interview client SME’s and document their needs for extending construction data warehouses
- Deliver SME needs to data engineers, software developers, and system admins
- Assist staff in testing and overseeing the acceptance of data model improvements
- Develop Technical Architect Diagrams to illustrate system architecture
- Understand API documentation across multiple project management systems and work with SMEs of other IT systems to understand integrations and data mapping
You should have
- Technology degree or relevant certifications (e.g. Primavera Unifier Implementation Consultant)
- 4+ years’ experience in with construction data
- 4+ years of software development/data engineering experience
- Familiarity with a wide range of construction systems such as e-Builder, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Unifier and/or P6
- Experience creating data marts with dimensional and facts tables crossing multiple system data sources
- Proficiency with SQL
- Proficiency with Python and/or other software languages
- Experience with large scale data warehouses such as Hive or Redshift
- Ability to be hands-on in detail and high-level strategic
- Strong organizational, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the Construction industry as it relates to business processes or project management
- Experience in the Technology industry as it relates to software implementations and administration
- Expert SQL and/or Python skills
